First, let me say that I am VERY picky about my lip balm. I thoroughly critique every kind I buy and over the years I've pretty much determined that Vaseline is the best for taste-free, long-lasting protection. My only complaint about Vaseline is that it is very oily and can look too lip-glossy after you first apply it.
So when I say that this product is "about as good as Vaseline" that actually a pretty significant compliment in my book. Here's a quick rundown of what to love about it.
PROS:

My only con is the tin it comes in. Although there's nothing actually wrong with it, the size is nice and compact, but I just prefer using a tube. Not a big complaint, but it is something to consider if you feel the same way I do.

The Nivea Smooth Kiss Lip Butter comes in a thin tin so it's convenient for carrying it with you on the go. It carries no scent. It's easy to apply. A little dab of this product goes a long way. It is excellent as a base for your lips before you apply lipstick or as a tall alone lip protector. It leaves your lips truly moisturized for hours without a shiny, sticky, tacky, or waxy feel. It is a definite cure for chapped lips. I apply it twice a day and my lips are soft, kissable, and moisturized all day. Your hair when wind blown to your lips just glides off your lips which is important to me. Too often my long hair has been trapped on my lips by tacky lip gloss. I love this balm and I instead to have one in my purse, nightstand, bathroom, living room, and car so I never have to be without it. Needless to say, I highly recommend this product.

I can wear it under my lipstick, and it does not make the color run or slide into those wrinkles around my lips. It is clear and NOT shiny, which is what I especially like. My lips feel healthy, soft and smooth. I'll be using this especially in the winter when the cold attacks my skin making it dry and crackly. No more of that!

BalasHapusIt comes in a little tin that takes up little space in a purse. But I especially love that it's super smooth to put on, light while on your lips and it's unscented and unflavored.
It's enriched with Shea Butter and Almond Oil and contains Vitamin E. Great product.
This "Smooth Kiss" Lip Butter is excellent! It measures only 2" across and is very thin. Excellent to carry in your purse. The lid comes off the tin very easily but not so easily that it comes off by itself. I love that it has no flavor or scent! I am allergic to fragrances and it's hard to find unscented products. This lip butter is white but goes on clear. It is indeed very smooth. Just apply with your finger and your lips will be so soft. Good things do come in small packages!
