I have several Anker chargers in my gadget bags for a variety of different devices, but recently added this, Astro Mini, to my collection for when I just want to carry my phone and not a wall plug or a large battery. The construction is aluminum and feels very solid and rugged in the hand. The unit has a micro-USB (charging in) and standard USB (charging out) port at the top along with a L.E.D. that indicates the charging state. There is also On button on the top start the charger. That combined with L.E.D. I am re-assured that I have started the charge process. Included there is a small velveteen pouch of small USB adapters to accommodate charging most any phone. Depending on your phone you should be able to easily double the life of your phone's battery for trips or flights without having to carry large batteries or hunt for a wall socket. I find the battery fits very neatly in my pocket next to my smartphone while giving me the security that I will be able to get those important business and family calls/emails even if I have been using my phone for extended periods browsing and listing to music or as a GPS. So far this is my favorite for my phone. Now I will wait for someone to make one this good that is 2 AMP out for an even more rapid charge.
